Dear colleagues and friends:
I am pleased to announce that the Robotic Biology Consortium (RBC) will host our first international conference Robotics and Semantics Systems for Biology (RSSB) 2016 in Tokyo, Japan.
Current laboratory experiments involve many different issues such as biosafety risks, unoptimized resource utilization, and irreproducibility. To resolve these issues and enhance life science research, we will discuss regarding laboratory automations in biology and a computational framework to integrate different automation systems and current laboratory experiments. We will bring together many exciting speakers from around the world. The conference will cover numerous topics, including robotics, artificial intelligence, semantics, software engineering, and biology.
RSSB 2016 is going to be held on June 25, 2016 at the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation (Miraikan), Japan’s major science center that is located in Daiba, Tokyo. The venue is on a large artificial island in the Tokyo Bay and is located close to downtown Tokyo, a neighborhood that is filled with great modern and traditional Japanese cultures.
Please join us for the first RSSB conference, and I hope that together we will initiate this paradigm shift that is predestined to happen!
